Tysons Corner lies between McLean and Vienna on the Capitol Beltway. As of the 2000 census, it had a population of about 19,000 residents. The area is home to Tysons Corner Center, the largest shopping mall in the state as well as Tysons Galleria and Fairfax Square. Tysons Corner has 46 million square feet of shopping and office space.
Tysons Galleria is located at 2001 International Drive and is home to such stores as Burberry, Cartier, Chanel, Lucky Brand Jeans, Ann Taylor and many more. Overall, there are 120 shops and stores in the galleria.
Tysons Corner Center is another upscale shopping center located in McLean. The The Shops at Fairfax is one of a kind. This shopping center contains the likes of Gucci, Tiffany, and Louis Vuitton just to name a few.
Tysons Transportation Authority can get you from one place to another. The Metro also runs to Tysons Corner as do several bus lines. To get there, take the Orange line to West Falls Church. Transfer to the bus either 28A, 28B or 28T. Most of the things to do in Tysons Corner revolve around shopping as some of the best in the state is located here.
There are Seven Schools in Tysons Corner zip codes. Colvin Run Elementary, Freedom Hill Elementary, Westbriar Elementary, Wolftrap Elementary, Kilmer Middle and Kilmer Center are all located in Tysons Corner. These schools are located in Fairfax County and are all part of the Fairfax County Public School System.

The Gates of McLean is located in Tysons Corner, and in a McLean postal code, but it can seem like neither. It's somewhat tucked away from the highrises, retail, and other buildings that make up Tysons Corner.
These homes are just inside the beltway, and somewhat surrounded by trees. Transportation is not an issue, as it is easy to get on many major roads such as: 123, 7, 267, 495, 66, and more. If you live here, you're also very close to the Tysons Corner mall, and a proposed metro station location.

The Fountains at McLean is a condominium community that is right in the heart of Tysons Corner, Northern Virginia's biggest job center. It is right across from Freddie Mac and it's multiple buildings. It's also across the street from a bus station. From this location you can easily access major roads such as: 495 (Beltway), 267 (toll road), 66 East, 123, 7, and more.
Shopping is also close by, as it is an easy walk to either Tysons Mall, Tysons Galleria, or the soon to be completed Harris Teeter grocery store.

Lillian Court's location is perfect for shoppers. This community is literally right next door to the Tysons Galleria (Tysons 2) mall. It is in the heart of Tysons corner, easily accessed off of International Drive. Lillian Court is also a stones throw from many large employers like: BAE, Booz Allen, SAIC, KPMG, and more.
The community boasts a clubhouse with helpful staff during normal business hours. There is also a fitness center and outdoor pool. The main attraction of this community is it's great location.

Cedars of Tyson, a cozy community of 10 Townhomes sits in a street unto itself off of Cedar Lane and in between the intersections of Electric Avenue to the North and Idylwood Road to the south. Cedars of Tysons townhomes off of Goldstream were built in 1981. These townhomes are an easy walk to the Dunn Loring post office. They're also very close the the W/O + D Trail that crosses through Vienna and Cedar lane a little farther south. Someone could live in this tucked in community and be happy to be "in" and have access to Tysons Corner and Vienna, but really be on the edge of both. It's also very easy to get to the Beltway. You can however choose to go roads that are slightly less busy, like Gallows or Idylwood and get to McLean, Falls Church or even destinations farther into Virginia in Fairfax and beyond. Cedars of Tysons is a nice Tysons Corner townhome community that many are sure to be pleasantly surprised by.
