Loudoun County (pronounced “LOUD-un”) is part of the Washington Metro Area. In 2008, it was home to about 290,000 people. That marks a 71% increase since the 2000 census. As of 2007, Loudoun County had the second highest median household income in the country.
 Loudoun County Public Schools has a 94% graduation rate. Overall, Loudoun County’s students excel in the classroom and on the SAT. Students posted a 15 point increase in test scores from 2007 to 2008. Loudoun’s overall score of 1575 was well above the national average of 1511.
SHOPPING IN LOUDOUN COUNTY
Shopping in Loudoun County consists of many shopping centers and malls.
Dulles Town Center is anchored by JC Penney, Lord and Taylor, Old Navy, Macy’s, Sears and Nordstrom. Dulles Town Center is located at the intersection of Virginia Routes 7 and 28 in Dulles, Virginia. Easily accessible from Washington, D.C. and just minutes North of the Washington Dulles International Airport.
Leesburg Corner Outlets is also a popular place to shop, Stores include Brooks Brothers, Ann Taylor and many more. The outlet is located in Leesburg.
